My boyfriend and I went there for lunch! It wasn’t busy, and we were seated right away (granted, we did reserve a seat the night before). We ordered a Caesar salad and a standard pan pizza with olives and green peppers. We waited about 20 … More

It's a small space but nice for small gatherings with friends! Parking is tough, service is good, non alcoholic drink options are very limited and unless you like the taste of burnt pizza don't do the pan pizza. The caramelized crust is … More

Excellent PAN pizza! This is not a deep dish chicago style pizza. But the pan pizza is delicious! We got sausage and pepperoni on ours. The sausage was excellent! The pepperoni was good...nothing special, but good. Sodas are free refills. Highly recommend! More

This pizza is excellent! We make an effort to go each time we’re in town. It’s deep dish without being super heavy. The sauce is delicious too! More

Deep Dish "pan" pizza lunch special with a Pequod IPA was the perfect lunch stop on my commute home from Milwaukee to Cleveland. I was rooting for the Guards, then the Brewers and now the Cubbies. More

the original location! quaint, tiny, slightly cramped seating and antiquated decor, constantly busy and filled with the low energy buzz of people passionate about the best kept secret of chicago since 1970, most delicious pizza i ever had in my life. get the meatballs. More

Best pizza in the world. You will wait about 40 minutes for your pizza but it’s well worth the wait and the drinks and overall atmosphere make the wait seem shorter. More

Disappointed. People rave about this place all the time. A friend even ordered from here recently and I thought it was pretty decent. But seems like consistency is not their thing as I ordered the SAME exact thing me and my friend got, and … More

We drove almost an hour to get here, and I have to say we had a really nice experience. The pizza and wings were very good and the Ceasar Salad was decent. Just being there felt like an old school 80s neighborhood bar with all around great service and cool atmosphere. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Pequods did not disappoint. We were in Chicago on holiday and made the trip to Morton Grove for the OG Pequods. We had a short wait before our reservation was ready so we went to the bar for a quick drink. While waiting, we enjoyed the decor and overall vibe. It really still feels like a little neighborhood joint and is so inviting. We had a salad and pasta while we waited for the pizza and both were great. The homemade italian and homemade ranch dressings were both excellent. Then it was pizza time! Wow oh wow! The bottom of the crust was thick, soft, and delicious. The sauce and cheese were quality and in perfect proportion. The toppings were premium. And the edge crust was caramelized perfectly, crispy, and exactly what ypu want. We highly recommend Pequods for any deep dish lover.

The OG Pequods. My favorite pizza in the Chicagoland area. Vibes and atmosphere at the original location are the best. If you are a fan of the Lincoln Park location and have never been here, it’s worth a dedicated trip!

Had 3 large pizzas for take out the size was definitely impressive and more than 10 people could eat. The flavor was decent Im not a huge fan of deep dish and it also couldve been longer in the oven! Wait time was ok about one hour.

“Nobody goes there, it’s too crowded!” Don’t ever go here to pick up on a busy night! They oversell and the pickup system is based on pure chaos theory. That said, pretty good pizza as evidenced by people willing to wait in the cold without a clue where their order is. The appetizer wings weren’t bad, pretty good.

Pequod's best Pan Pizza in Chicagoland area! Great hole in the wall place for pizza in Morton Grove. They serve "Pan" pizza!! thick caramelized crust huge pizza which easily fed four of us and even allowed some to take home. I'm very basic with pizza but we ordered large cheese. YOU MUST get extra cheese and sauce it's a pan pizza so it's doughy people! One person got a personal jalapeño pan looked amazing! One time I brought my own eggs and bacon and had to put it on a pizza. It was amazing!! Their delivery service is on point and fast! A interesting facts about Pequods. The restaurant is named after the lead boat from the movie Moby Dick. Great servers, great pizza. 100% recommend!
